Just admit that He’s there. It’s the simplest of all gestures and yet we humans make it so complicated that we are usually incapable of doing it.How could anything so significant happen from such a small and quiet gesture, but once you do it, it opens up this whole realm, this relationship with God, that you cannot even know exists until you’ve gotten that first tiny step out of the way.

God is there and He’s waiting for us to believe in Him without overwhelming evidence that He exists. Once we have faith, we’ll see plenty of evidence … so long as we’re not expecting Him to provide it. After all, what’s the point of faith if you have overwhelming evidence?
