Today marks my second full day in Las Vegas, with another week to go. To me, Vegas is a city of extremes. There is glitz and glamor – and plenty of people wearing sky-high heels just to go in the pool. There are lights galore. There is desperation and addiction. There are people celebrating the best events of their lives, and people living their worst nightmares. So many extremes, just one city.
And so today I pray for God’s presence over this place. For His peace. For His Truth. For people to feel His love and know that it’s truth. I am here to be used if that’s what He wants, and I put my trust in the God who hears and answers to shine his light over this one-of-a-kind city.
