The Power of Prayer

Last week God showed Himself SO faithful. With each labouring mother, with each anxious mother before a c-section, I prayed that God would watch over them. That God would bless and make everything smooth and okay.  Praise Him that He did! Praise Him that on Saturday, a case that really could have turned out SO badly did not!  A baby born much too early (less than 30 weeks) because of a very dangerous situation that could have taken the life of the baby and potentially even the mother if it continued on too much longer came out crying and mother was healthy and safe! Praise Him!!!!!

I know that we here at Being Rebekah have been dropping the ball a little. We aim to post daily but clearly, that has been an issue of sorts.  One of the Rebekahs has been without a computer and I just don’t always have the energy to seek out posts for our guest spot or songs/movies for Saturday… but I hope you are encouraged today to trust Him with every step of your day.  Know that even if you don’t feel like what you do for your work is life or death, reaching the lost truly is life or death- of the eternal kind.  You have the power to pray your friends, family, and co-workers into life eternal when they come to God.  When you allow God to use you to show them the truth of Acts 2:38- how it’s the starting grounds to an abundant life with Christ that ends with the grand prize of heaven, you will have your reward walking the streets of gold with those you love and the One who loves you more than life itself.  Just as God has been using me to help pray over these potentially bad situations so that they have favorable outcomes, God can use you in your workplace too! Go out and let God guide you! 🙂

  1. Blessings here’s the thing about Glorifying God by using His word. His word never returns void. We humans think we need to say something all the time. i say this about myself and comfort to you.
God knows how to make a little go ALONG WAY!
Your Prayers for those people will not burn they with withstand God’s Testing. oh the rewards you will receive Rebekah. BE BLESSED Thank you for sharing Praise report of answered prayer.

  2. sorry to take your time up but Just heard Word from God for you. There was a man named Jabez who was more honorable than his brothers (DR’s are?) His mother named him Jabez his birth had been so painful. (the pain you must feel for those mother’s) He was the One Who Prayed to God of Israel, ” oh, that You would Bless me and Expand my Territory! (People are territory) Please be with me in All that I do, and keep me from all the trouble and pain”. (enemy brings that)
    God granted him his Request.

  3. May the Lord bless you by making your crooked places straight and the rough places smooth! May you be strengthened in the power of His might. Know that He has plans even now for what is happening, even though your blog seems to have fallen between the cracks. He’s got it under control. Relax, breathe, and know that He loves you with an everlasting love. May Jesus continue to draw you with lovingkindness to pastures for restoration and give you peace!

Miss hearing from you, but we do have forever, after all!
