Prayer Monday/Jesus Calling Devotional: Walking Delightfully

Reading is from Aug 13 of Jesus Calling by Sarah Young:

When you walk through a day with childlike delight, savoring every blessing, you proclaim your trust in Me… Glorify Me through your pleasure in Me.

Lord,

I have allowed life to bog me down but today I choose Your joy. I am not rejected. I am not shamed. I did right. What shame is there in that? 🙂 I know You have an amazing man out there for me- but today is for You and I and us alone. May I bask in our freedom from distractions. May I consecrate myself in You and cement our relationship. Walk with me today Jesus, not as my quiet follower that I ignore, but as my active Love- hand in hand- whispering to me strength, courage, and when and how to act.
